What should we pay attention to in iron pipe construction

1. Pipe trench excavation
The width of groove bottom is calculated as follows: B = D1 + 2 (b1 + b2). Excavation width (mm) D1 pipe structure outer edge width (mm) B1 pipe side working face width (mm) B2 pipe side support width (mm)
2. Groove support
According to factors such as soil quality, groundwater, trough section and load conditions, the planning should be firm and reliable, so as to avoid collapse, support and blockage of the lower pipe and pipe stabilization.
3. T-joint pipes should be supported at inflection points in vertical or horizontal directions. The pier size should be determined by calculating the pipe diameter, rotating viewpoint and working pressure.
4. When transporting drinking water, pipelines shall not pass through toxic contaminated areas. If necessary, protective measures should be adopted.
5. All nodular cast iron pipes connected by pipe holders must be accounted for. See National Construction Code Planning Atlas 03SS505 "Flexible Connected Pipe Piers".
6. External anti-corrosion coatings for ductile iron pipes should be selected by galvanizing and epoxy asphalt coatings or higher requirements according to the soil condition of the piping site.
7. After installation of pipeline and qualified pressure test, it is advisable to wash with low chloride ion water and disinfect with 0.03% potassium permanganate solution.
